Christmas Cookie Season

Holiday Baking Edition

Simply Made Eats by Tara

We had a really great trip to Nashville for Thanksgiving and it was the first holiday that I didn't cook in years (feels like decades). Okay, I did make bacon cream cheese rolls, but it was still different.

I missed cooking in my own kitchen, but I've been working hard and a break was nice. It did make me step back and realize that maybe I go a bit overboard on holidays and I could simplify. I'm going to work towards this for the Christmas season.

It's officially December, which in food content creator world means "Cookie Season." Y'all I have eaten so many cookies already. It's not even right. I'm not well. πŸ€ͺ

I have favorites and I'm super excited to share them before your annual Christmas baking day.

To the Recipes...

Sprinkle Sugar Cookies

These are a must bake this season and feature Christmas Sprinkles coated on a classic sugar cookie. They're super easy and don't require cookie cutting, rolling out dough, etc. Plus, only 1 hour of chilling time needed.

Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you love the flavors of coffee and dark chocolate, these cookies are made for you. They're soft and chewy with flaky sea salt added on top.

Snickerdoodle Cookie Bars

These Snickerdoodle Cookie Bars are soft and chewy with big cinnamon & sugar taste. Bite into these dessert bars and find a sweet and savory brown sugar and butter layer that's over the top delish. I like them way better than the traditional cookie version.

That's it for this week! Check out all my Christmas Cookies by clicking the button below. Lemon Curd Cookies are another favorite. A bit of extra work, but totally worth it.

Thanks for reading and Happy Baking!
