Apple Desserts

To Bake this Fall

Simply Made Eats by Tara

It's starting to feel a bit like Fall in NC, but our temps need to drop down at least into the low 80's. I can feel the urge to start Fall baking and I always start with apple recipes.

I have a lot of them and today I'm sharing some favorites!

Apple Cobbler Cake

This one was popular on social media last week and it's a must try. I make it with peaches in the Summer and apples in the Fall.

It's super easy to make and starts off with store bought cake mix, and is then covered in fresh apples with warm spices and a crumble topping. I like to serve it with vanilla ice cream.

More Apple Desserts:

โ€‹Apple Oatmeal Cake: I love this one for breakfast with a cup of coffee.

โ€‹Apple Turnovers with Phyllo Dough: Flaky dough triangles stuffed with apple filling. Always popular on Youtube in the Fall.

โ€‹Mini Apple Pies: These are super fun to make in a muffin tin and use store bought pie dough for an easy dessert.

โ€‹Apple Pie with Graham Cracker Crust: This is my favorite way to make apple pie. It has a graham cracker crust and is topped with a crumble topping.

That's it for this week.

Thanks for reading and Happy Fall Baking!

Chicken Salad Recipes I make on repeat Simply Made Eats by Tara I love Chicken Salad recipes so much that I have to switch up the ingredients, so I don't get bored. It's the best because it's high protein and a lot of times I just grab a rotisserie chicken, so it's no cooking either. I mainly prep Chicken Salad on Sundays, so I have a grab and go lunch from the fridge. Sometimes I'll store it in one big bowl or individual portions in these glass storage containers. Viral Recipes That are actually worth the hype Simply Made Eats by Tara I'm not usually a fan of viral recipes, mostly because I don't love what happens on social media with them. Someone creative publishes this recipe that goes viral, and then everyone copies it trying to get more views. Once in a while, if I see something that looks really interesting, I'll put my own spin on it and here are a few of my favorites.
