It's been a rough week for this Mom. I had to get two teeth extracted in order to get braces and one of them turned out to be a nightmare (crown broke off and it took about an hour to get root out). It's been the longest 3 days of my life with minimal sleep and so much pain. I know now that it's never a good thing when the dentist says "I've never seen anything like this before." Red flag people...Red flag! OMG ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I'm making it through and next time you see me, I'll have a shiny set of braces on the bottom row, haha! Hopefully you won't even see them.

It's Mother's Day weekend and while I'll most likely be sitting on my couch recovering, I have so many recipe ideas for the occasion.

Let's start with breakfast/ brunch ideas...

Banana Pecan Muffins

This is a new recipe this week and they are so delicious! It's perfect if you have old bananas on the countertop that are about ready to throw away. Those bananas have less acidity and more sugar, which makes them amazing for muffins and bread.

โค๏ธ Brioche French Toast Casserole : A fan favorite since I started the blog and only takes 5-10 minutes to prep.

โค๏ธ Strawberry Ricotta Toast : Fun for breakfast in bed because it's really simple, but mom will still love it. Plus, great for the Spring season with fresh berries and basil.

โค๏ธ Egg Bites : A Starbucks copycat recipe and great for when you have a group to feed. Tip: Really spray that muffin tin with cooking spray because they love to stick.
