Halloween Treats

Trick or Treat Edition

Simply Made Eats by Tara

When it comes to Halloween..I'm all about the candy, but I HATE being scared. I'm usually down for any kind of event, but mention a haunted house and I'll immediately shut it down. Scary movie?! Not on my TV.

Am I grown woman? Yes. Does that matter? Not one bit.

I do like watching other people be scared though. This Labubu video had me laughing so hard.

I love taking the kids trick or treating too, and here are some of my favorite recipes when I'm hosting a Halloween party.

Chili

You've gotta have Chili for Halloween. This Classic Dutch Oven Chili is my go to recipe that I've been making since I was about 19 years old.

The Video

It's an older video, but the recipe hasn't changed :)

For different Chili Variations, check out this Turkey Chili with Edamame and Green Chicken Chili.

Halloween Treats

This Halloween Snack Mix is so delicious with a salty and sweet combo!

Whip up these Halloween Dirt Pudding Cups or Mini Pumpkin Rice Krispies for a kid (& adult) favorite.

If you're looking for an adult cocktail, try these Bourbon Apple Cider Cocktails. You can also make a big batch and keep them warm in the crockpot, which is great for parties.

That's it for this week. I hope everyone has a fun holiday.

Thanks for reading and Happy Cooking!
