Stone Fruit Desserts

That I Can't get Enough of

Simply Made Eats by Tara

So, I know a while ago I said I wasn't doing much baking this Summer. That was a lie. I have become obsessed with fresh Cherries and Peaches, and I've been baking them. Sorry, not sorry.

To the Recipes...

Homemade Cherry Crumble

This turned out soooo good. I made it for July 4th and it got devoured. I like it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream to balance out the flavors. It's only about 15 minutes of prep, which is mainly pitting and halving the fresh cherries. I grabbed this cherry pitter to help me out a bit. It's like $7 and a good thing to have in the kitchen.

I also have a cherry chocolate chunk ice cream that's no churn coming soon.

Now for the Peaches...

Peach Crumble Cake: One of my favorite desserts EVER

Peach Cobbler in a Skillet: Peaches with a fluffy biscuit topping

Peach Mango Hand Pies: Individual desserts are always fun and these use puff pastry as a shortcut

Bonus dessert: Not a Stone Fruit, but I believe it's a masterpiece.

This Banana Cake hit the blog this week and it's moist, delicious and topped with a cream cheese frosting and toasted coconut. If you have 3 brown bananas on the counter, this is your sign to make this!

That's it for this week.

Thanks for reading and Happy Summer Baking πŸ˜›

Seafood Recipes 🐟 You'll Want to Make This Summer Simply Made Eats by Tara We were at the beach a few weekends ago and if it wasn't so hot and sticky, I'd move there just to have access to fresh fish. On the last day we found Surf City Crab Seafood Market in Surf City Beach, NC and it was incredible. It was located right next to the water and just packed full of fresh seafood. We grabbed Crab legs, flounder, oysters, and red snapper, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. I've been making...
