Approachable Recipes to keep things Simple

Simply Made Eats by Tara

I love going all out on Thanksgiving and Christmas, but on Easter I don't want to spend the whole day in the kitchen.

We do easter baskets, an egg hunt at my parents and the day gets busy. Plus, it's getting warmer in the South and I like spending time outside with the fam.

I love approachable recipes for Easter with minimal prep, that don't require a bunch of time and shopping for a million ingredients.

Let's get the recipe idea machine going...

Easter Brunch

Ham and Cheese Tarts: Brand NEW to the blog and only require 6 ingredients and 30 minutes!

Brioche French Toast Casserole: Always popular on the holidays and only takes 5 minutes to prep, then pop it into the oven.

Dill Pickle Chicken Salad: I love this one for Spring and it's heavy on dill flavor, which makes it soooo tasty. Serve it on sourdough, over greens, croissants or on crackers.

Carrot Banana Muffins: Moist and delicious with a carrot banana base and crumble topping.

Ok, this was hard to just pick a few favorites. You may want to browse more here...

Appetizers

Deviled Eggs are a must at Easter and these Cajun inspired Deviled Eggs will disappear quick!

Jalapeno Pimento Cheese: Just a touch of spice and tastes amazing with celery or on crackers. Plus, it can be prepped a day ahead to save time.

Cream Cheese Fruit Dip: Impossible to stop eating and pairs well with grapes, strawberries, pineapple, etc.

Main Courses

Spiral Ham is a classic Easter dinner idea, and this Double Smoked Ham is always popular on the blog. If you're using the oven, consider tossing the ham packet and making this pineapple ham glaze instead.

For Turkey recipes, try these popular Oven Roasted Turkey Legs or Smoked Turkey Breast.

For a smaller gathering, these Boneless Beef Short Ribs will be a hit!

Sweets

Mini Lemon Curd Tarts with only 4 ingredients are brand NEW to the blog!

Another citrus dessert is this Raspberry Lemon Loaf, which is incredible. This Strawberry Pie is favorite too.

I shared a bunch of Easter treat recipes last week, so check those out too!

That's it for this week. I hope you have a Happy Easter.

Thanks for reading and Happy Cooking!

The Masters Menu At Home Simply Made Eats by Tara Some of you may not know this, but as of a few years ago, I've become pretty obsessed with golf. My daughter plays golf, which started it, then I started playing. Next, I watched Full Swing on Netflix..started learning the players, getting into the golf fits, got my own clubs, joined the neighborhood golf club and now I'm all in. πŸ˜‚ I should also mention that I'm terrible at golf, but I play so much that sometimes I freak out because I think I...

Easy No Bake Easter Treats Low Effort Sweets that EVERYONE loves ❀️ Simply Made Eats by Tara Spring is here and that means I'm not baking again until Fall! Today I'm sharing some of my favorite no bake Easter treats, that are absolutely delicious and so easy to make. Last week I told you guys about our dog Hutch's surgery and I'm happy to report he's doing really well. I'm pretty sure he has no idea what happened and he's been trying to run and jump around, so now the problem is trying to...

Dinner on a Sheet Pan For days when life is beyond busy Simply Made Eats by Tara This week has been beyond chaotic and probably the most expensive week of my existence on this planet. A few days after we got home from Spring break (in Disney πŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ), our 3 year old dog Hutch started throwing up and it seemed serious because he wouldn't eat any food. I dangled bacon in his face and he refused. He's a chocolate lab and can pretty much eat anything.... Except for the giant bone that was lodged in...
