Must Try Recipes to Beat the Heat!

Simply Made Eats by Tara

The chaos continues over here with two kids home for Summer and two crazy dogs that I still can't trust together.

Our puppy is latching onto our other dog's face with her razor teeth, and he ain't having it. It's a crazy time, but I mean how cute is Penny?! She's 1/4 angel and 3/4 devil though...don't be fooled ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

I've been trying a lot of the trending recipe ideas on social media, but of course putting my own spin on them, and it's been really fun.

Today I'm sharing some that I made this week and I hope you try them too!

Street Corn Chicken & Rice Bowls

There's a lot of reasons to love this recipe...

  1. High Protein with 43 grams per bowl.
  2. Flavor packed with my addicting corn salad recipe loaded right into these bowls.
  3. Everyone can build their own bowls, which is always a favorite in our house (& wonderful with picky kids)

The Next Trending Item on my list was a homemade Sport's drink. Everyone has been making their own gatorade and I had to try it!

I made a Watermelon Lime version that has no added sugars and is so hydrating! Plus, only 5 ingredients, plus water and ice.

Get cooled off this Summer and try it here..

For more of a sweet treat, I made this 3 ingredient Creamy Orange Lemonade. This is similar to the Brazilian Lemonade and uses sweetened condensed milk instead of a simple syrup, which eliminates having to cook up that sticky mixture.

It would be a great one to make for those 4th of July celebrations.

One Pot Dinners Ready in 30ish Minutes Simply Made Eats by Tara I think all of us love a 30 minute one pot dinner.. Less mess and ready quick!
